A Lot to Digest

It's been a really tough & hectic week...
I almost feel like I'm writing my final exams.... Ah, the good ol' college days...

But, daily sketching is really helping to alleviate my frustration...

I realize I've been sketching a lot digitally, lately..
But, I've also been slogging to finish off the comic abt the puppy...

I've completed around 65%,so far...
As usual, I hope to finish by "next" week xD

Anyways, here's a page from the comic:

I need to think of a Title, too...

Also, here's one of my attempts at an Illustrator design...

I almost forgot to share a few sketches that I did, at work:

Until, Next week xD

Mr Robot and Terminator

A lot of stuff to think about...

Where do I begin ?

Ha ha, this is the narration style from my current favorite show: Mr. Robot

What an amazing show, Not 1 but 3 Twists, towards the end of the season !!

Also, loved the piano cover of "Where is my Mind?".

Anyways, have been  sketching diligently, this week.

Inspired by Angry birds & the feeling that I get everyday while leaving for work, did this:

Ghost B.C and Friday vibes inspired me to copy paste their Album-cover, at work:

Watched Terminator: Genisys and I must say: This movie r$%ped the Terminator Franchise, pretty bad. Shaken and Depressed, I ended up watching T2 again.

Until next week: Hasta La Vista, Baby !!!

Man vs Beast

Had a lot of automated work today, which means more sketch practice at work.

I must say: Vertical shading really turns the sketch fancy.

Also: #Inktober 3: A simple sketch of a lion battling a man.

A Forgotten Week

Glad I found a few sketches done over the last week...

Have to post this and backdate it.. xD

First off: Silicon Valley, An amazing show ...

Really awe-inspiring to create fun apps and work in a start-up..

Anyways, did a sketch of my fav. characters from the show, on my Moleskine...

Did a Couple of sketches at work:

Last week, while travelling to work, came across a risky situation involving a JCB and a road, under-construction...

The Ugliest set of Comics

Are you ready for poorly drawn, dirty, ugly and crappy comic-strips...

Starting off with a subtle one.
Weather changes pretty much every second, the city where I currently live in.

Time for the dirty and ugly ones:
My Friend told me about this hilarious-venture called PeePoo.  It's essentially a bag where one pee/poos in and it turns into a fertilizer. Sort of an eco-friendly way to crap.
We drew some comics, about this, for the lols:

Some poorly drawn ones:
There's this friend and colleague who ditches office-parties, more than I do.
So drew some comics based on these inside-jokes.

Mixed-Bag

What do you do when you're patiently waiting for something/ someone...
Well, I like to draw stuff... I used to draw a lot before too, but never held on to the sketches...

Sometimes they're illustrations and at other times, they're plain practice-sketches.
Although I  know, that the sketches aren't that great, they do speak stories and reflect feelings...

It reminds me of the day that I drew it...
It reminds me what was going on in my head and the emotions I had on that day...

In other words, they're Memories and constant reminders of something beautiful or gruesome..

aaaaaaaaah, who cares... I just scribble when I'm bored at work, sigh....

Art at Work

Did a couple of sketches at work:

Wolverine was the hero that I always used to draw as a kid.

The sketch seems to have come out good. I do not like his legs though.

This reminds me to start working on my Anatomy lessons.

The Tree took me a lot of time. I think the layout of the leaves are a bit off.

The main thing here is that a lot of shading is needed for the tree bark and branches.

Working in IT, there are moments when I've to wait for the computer to catch up. It is during this time, that I render my drawings, in installments.

This was sort of a Design + Art sketch. Part of the sketching tutorial by Ian Bates at Instructables. Definitely a must read and practice.

Used only ball-point pen for these sketches and I must say: Ball-point pen do add a mysterious spark to the sketches. These sketches resemble something that's printed on a 8th Grade Science Textbook.

Im headed off to the watch the Season 5 Finale of Game of Thrones. Hoping that the episode lives to its Hype.
